Scoreboard and scoring

Set up the teams and the rules, and fix a wrong score.

You answer these questions when you add a match. To change them later, open the match's Settings tab.

Turn the scoreboard on or off

Go to Settings, then Scoreboard and players. You can also tick or untick Scoreboard when you export.

Players and team colours

Surnames are enough: they go on the board. Pick a colour for each team.

If you change the rules after scoring, the score is worked out again. You don't need to enter it twice.

Who served first

The scoreboard uses this to show who's serving and when there's a break point. If you're not sure, choose Not sure and answer later.

The video starts in the middle of the match

In Settings, under Scoring, click The video starts in the middle of the match? and enter the games already played.

The score is wrong from one point on

First check that each point has the right winner. If you still need to change it:

  1. In the Editor tab, select the first rally with a wrong score.
  2. Press Set the score at this point… in the panel beside it.
  3. Enter the right score. It applies from this rally on.

You don't know which team is which

Turn on Score by court side in Settings, under Scoring, and answer Who starts on the near side, closest to the camera? You then click Near side won or Far side won, and OrcaEye works out the team from the changes of ends.
