Highlights
Pick your best points and export them for social media.
Pick your highlights
Press M on a rally, in the Review and score or Editor tab. You can also click the ☆ on its row in the rally list.
OrcaEye also suggests some, once the video is analysed. Open Highlights in the rally list to see them. Click ☆ to accept one, or ✕ to dismiss it.
Export them
- Open the Export and share tab and choose Highlights.
- Choose Vertical or Horizontal.
- Tick the rallies you want.
- Choose One reel for a single video, or One file each for a video per highlight.
- Press Export the reel or Export 3 videos.
| Format | Best for | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Vertical | Shorts, TikTok and Reels | 9:16. The picture follows the ball. |
| Horizontal | YouTube and big screens | The whole picture, as filmed. |
Highlights don't have a scoreboard. They do have the small OrcaEye mark.
As with a match export, open your original file for full quality. Otherwise they're made from the 720p copy.
Good to know
- Several files go to your Downloads folder as one zip. Over 4 GB, they download one by one: if Chrome asks to allow several downloads, say Allow. If they're too big for your browser to keep, OrcaEye asks you to choose a folder.
- "Still being analysed": the picture stays in the middle for those highlights instead of following the ball. Wait for the analysis to finish, then export again.
- A video filmed vertically can only be exported as vertical highlights.
