Edit in the Editor
See the whole match on a timeline, and change any rally.
Use the Review and score tab to go through the rallies in order. Use the Editor tab to see the whole match at once and go straight to one rally.
The bright blocks on the timeline are the rallies that stay in your video.
Change a rally
| To | Do this |
|---|---|
| Move its start or end | Drag its edge. The video shows that frame while you drag. |
| Remove it | Select it and press Delete, or right-click it and choose Remove. |
| Bring it back | Right-click its dashed outline and choose Restore this rally. |
| Split it | Put the playhead, the line that shows where you are in the video, where you want it and press S. |
| Join two rallies | Ctrl-click them (⌘ on a Mac) and press Ctrl J. |
| Add a rally | Drag across a gap in the timeline. |
| Go back to OrcaEye's cut | Right-click it and choose Restore the automatic cut. |
Everything can be undone with Ctrl Z (⌘ Z on a Mac). Your work saves by itself.
Cut a match by hand
If you turned off Find rallies automatically, or OrcaEye couldn't find the rallies, the timeline starts empty.
Drag across it to add each rally. Or press I at the start, O at the end, then Enter.
Watch your video
Under the video, switch between Edited, which plays only what you kept, and Full match, which plays everything. H does the same.
Keep more or less around each rally
Go to the match's Settings tab, then Clips. This changes every rally at once:
| Choice | Before the serve | After the point |
|---|---|---|
| Tight | 0.5 s | 0.25 s |
| Normal | 0.75 s | 1.25 s |
| Relaxed | 1.5 s | 2.5 s |
You can also set your own numbers there. Use for my next matches is ticked, so your choice carries over. Untick it for a one-off.
Find a rally
The rally list has four filters: All, To check, Not scored and Highlights. Click a rally to go to it.
